An unexpected pregnancy paired with a heartbreaking truth will change life forever.

LF TEAM POV

18 minutes that will change the way you think about life; that is how the Level Forward Team has responded to RED WHITE AND BLUE. We're not alone—when we signed on to this film there was a chance it would be shortlisted for an Academy nomination—it was. Then there was a chance it would be nominated for an Academy Award—it was.

You think you know, you trust yourself to judge, you take many leaps, until, you realize that everything you thought is upside down and your preconceptions were just that. We can't stop coming up with the ways this Oscar nominated film can change hearts and minds; can make a statement about the choices we have, the choices we don't; and can instigate a new kind of truth and reconciliation process in our national dialogue on justice.

IMPACT STRATEGY

We are working through a series of near and longer term goals which include creating space for the many conversations—some safe, and some uncomfortable—to engage people who may not otherwise be open or available in their circles. We are thinking through how to have those conversations in a welcoming, calm, and productive way. This will include screenings and dialogue, discussion guides and discussion guidelines, engagement of stakeholder partners, churches and schools and a build to the election, particularly in states and institutions where people don't have access, even to the conversation.
